Architecture

The ancient town dates back to the mid of the 8th century. This region was solely used for hunting purposes and thus, most of the historic structures in this region hold an architecture element of hunting lodges and wildlife beauty. Sawai Madhopur was a planned city built during the 18th century on the site of the ancient town. The planned city holds many interesting structures.
